Overview
With all these changes going on with Facebook (Meta), is it smart to buy the stock? I will be going over the answer to that question in this blog, and going deep into the companies current situation.
META (NASDAQ: FB) as a Stock
Since the announcement of the companies name change and the company drastically changing its direction for the future, is META a good hold? Yes, especially in the current situation. The stock plunged since the announcement which means the stock is at a 13% discount. Not only that, I see the stock skyrocketing in the future. Since the youth of our world sees crypto and the metaverse as the future of the world, they will likely invest in a company that has the same views.

If you are looking for a long-term stock, META (NASDAQ: FB) will be a great hold.

- Is the Company performing?
META earned 29 billion dollars in earnings which is about half a billion less than expected, which isn’t too bad considering all the news surrounding the company. Also, internal company documents show that teenagers using the Facebook app will decrease 45% over the next two years, making it a good decision to separate Facebook (META) from the Facebook app.

They reported slightly fewer earnings than expected in the third quarter, and the Facebook app will lose nearly half of their teenage users in the next two years.
